Gellyball is a new game that uses an electric pistol/rifle much like an airsoft pistol that shoots an 8mm water orb. The water orb allows for a much lighter impact and no mess. Unlike paintball, there is no messy paint, and because of the lighter ball and slower velocity of the Gelly Blaster, they hurt less, and generally don’t leave a welt. Because it’s so much safer, its more appropriate for younger kids.

Is it safe?

Gellyball uses a polymer orb that when water is added it becomes 8mm in size and upon impact shatters and leaves a small water drop. Low impact means less sting and no bruising. All persons under 18 years of age must wear full goggles during play. Players over 18 may opt for safety glasses. Having been hit in the head and lip (usually an easy place to draw blood) hasn’t broken the skin on the owner. Persons with health problems that limit running or walking are cautioned that it is a strenuous exercise.

What ages play GellyBall?

GellyBall players range from 5 – 99. Basically, if you are good with running/walking 60′, you shouldn’t have an issue. The lower age limit is simply because the safety gear will size down only so far. If the child is larger for their age, it may be possible. We are happy to test fit a child before you register to be sure.
