BSR often has job openings for seasonal staff members. While occasionally we do open permanent positions to the public, most of our long term full time employees come from our seasonal pool. Seasonal work at BSR is a great way to earn extra cash in a fun work place. BSR is a open, positive place to work. We value employee positions. We do ask that people that work here have a positive attitude and try to engender a fun, exciting attitude. There are positions for all kinds of people. From track maintenance and safety workers, to folks working attractions, groundskeeping, concessions, and more.

Seasonal shifts are generally occur Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, from 8am until about 8pm Days are broken into 6 hour shifts on those days. Maintenance, and groundskeeping generally work other days, and have the opportunity for more shifts as much of their work is done when we’re closed. Our season generally runs from late April to early October every year.

During our interview we may decide that the position your applying for may not be a good fit. We may suggest an alternate position. You are under NO OBLIGATION to accept a job your not interested in. Current Openings.

Note, we use a team approach and encourage all staff to learn other jobs. We encourage employees to try other jobs and cross train. All seasonal positions are the same pay grade, but some jobs have more work then others. These positions are opening up in the near future.

Track maintenance/Track Safety – This position helps maintain the track during the week, and on the weekend helps keep drivers and customers safe. This position is generally open during our season.

Groundskeeping – Help maintain clean, well cared for facility. Charged with the care of our grass and plants, also helps track maintenance out.

Concessions – Help customers with treats and goodies while their enjoying our facility. We sell prepackaged foods, so no prep is needed, but employees must be able to maintain a clean environment. Currently Concessions also helps out with retail sales as a runner.

Attraction Operator – Attraction Operator/Referee/Track Safety personal to help operate our main attractions in a safe and fun manner. Must have positive, fun attitude and be able to enforce safety rules and regulations. We will train the right person with everything they need to know.

Cashier – Must be able to show good cash handling and the ability to work well with the public. Positive attitudes are a must. Also accepts credit cards and supplies change for the arcade. Must be able to lookup and locate parts for retail customers.

Future openings.

These jobs are not currently open, but we are accepting applications for them. We schedule interviews based on submission of application. You must mail or drop your application off, applications in hand are NOT prioritized until we physically receive them. When jobs open, current employees are given a chance to apply before we use our application pool, so if your interested in a position below, you may apply for another position that is open to begin with.

Vehicle Repair/Maintenance – Maintain both BSR and customer equipment and vehicles. Generally small engine repair, however we also have trucks and larger equipment that must be maintained and repaired.

Attraction Operator – BSR will be adding additional attractions as time goes by. The AO ensures that people have a safe, fun time, and also helps maintain their attraction during their shift. AOs are permitted to work both shifts each day, but MUST be highly reliable persons.
